Club History and Facilities

The Newbury Community Centre was opened in September 1968 and has continued to serve the community ever since. It is managed by a committee of volunteers who work hard to raise funds to keep the centre running.

The Centre consists of entrance foyer, main hall with bar, lounge, kitchen with serving hatch, Stan Forrest Committee Room and the Newbury Social Club.

The Main Hall, kitchen and Stan Forrest Committee Room are all available for hire. The main hall can be hired with a licensed bar provided.

Popular functions include a regular date for Fiona Nichols - Clairvoyant and Medium, approximately 3 times a year, always a well supported and popular evening.

A larger scale Bingo Evening is also held 3 or 4 times a year.

The Main Hall has also been hired by local companies for Christmas Dinner and Dances.

It is truly a multi functional set of rooms.
